Penelope Trunk Interview: Defining the Brazen Careerist

Few people can talk honestly about their first day of marriage counseling, the myth of the stay-at-home Dad, unexpected lessons in procrastination, and dish out brazen career advice in a single blog. Few women can digest and respond to massive amounts of nice and not-so-nice comments and remain eager to care and feed this invisible audience of hungry strangers while juggling six-figure book deals, column deadlines, beefy yet poetic posts, a husband, two young children (one of whom has special needs) and a complicated schedule of babysitters (because her children require not one, but two sitters at a time) on a daily basis.

Penelope Trunk defines the term brazen careerist. She's bold. Direct. Honest. Focused. And quite funny. Enjoy our podcast interview about the evolution of her career, her thought-process and perspective on blogging, her challenge in the transition from columnist to book author, and get a peak at what's in her future.
