A Spicy Kung Fu Kick

She's not a girly-girl, although she'd take the part (if the money was good). A human swiss army knife. A real-live action figure with a spicy Kung Fu kick. Alice, known as "TOY" in the entertainment industry, is first and foremost a performer. "Everybody's a brand," she told me. Despite the fact that I agree with her, I have a hard time calling her by her brand name. I guess she's just Alice to me.

Alice had a blue mohawk when I met her ten years ago. She had a really loud laugh and in a odd way, you could almost feel a "pow" when she entered the room. At that time, she was playing the role of a audio engineer and had the responsibility of helping Lou Gerstner, past CEO and Chairman of IBM, feel at ease behind the microphone for the company's first interactive annual report. She did this with total confidence and ease.

I wonder if Mr. Gerstner could feel the "pow"?

There are lots of things I didn't know about Alice until I cleared the smoke. Things that amaze me and make me appreciate her uniqueness even more. I want her audience to know that she's a gentle, caring soul tucked inside of a powerful persona with mega smarts budding from her days at MIT and Wellesley College. The fact that she's a certified snowboard instructor and scuba diver with proven expertise in teaching a parrot to speak fluent English (and Chinese). She's the only person I know with a license to drive a monster truck and one of a precious few willing to jump for a dream.

I hope you get a chance to feel the "pow" when Alice takes the stage.

Oh, this girl Alice is well known in 37 states and a few Canadian provinces. And she happens to be the Recording Secretary of a very prestigious secret society. She's little scary before you get to know her, but such a peach when you do.
